Hey guys! As a bonafide hermit, even this is hard for me. I think it’s probably day 25 of serious shelter-in-place.
On March 13, I canceled my hair appt because San Francisco was going to do shelter in place soon and there was a lot of talk about flattening the curve, and I was concerned that the close proximity to the hairdresser wouldn’t be safe for me or her. Turns out it was a good call. Since March 13, I have only gone out to walk the dogs (keeping plenty of distance from others) and a few trips to the grocery store to get my pantry up to snuff. Before all this I barely got out except for those things, except now I thoroughly obsessively wash my hands upon returning home. I still find myself ‘out of it’ at times and really don’t feel that productive most days. That said, I do have a little bit of show and tell…
First, my pups are the cutest first thing in the morning. I’m not sure how she did it, but Penny put that thicker grey blanket over her, I tucked her in with the thinner green blanket with the grey one underneath her, she’s resourceful! Duke has usually destroyed any semblance of order by morning, but on this morning his bed was still mostly made.
Next, I started another Jewel Tone tile, I haven’t done the shadows or highlights yet, but I still made you a gif 😉
Lastly, I don’t even know where in my mind this came from… but hey, it is day 25 or so of Shelter-in-Place. I can tell you that I forgot that the paper I used on this one doesn’t move watercolor and almost ruined it with too much water. So this is how you work with a mistake, I guess (also I made you a gif)…
