I’ve been having a lot of fun watercolor painting and I’m starting to explore gouache as well. Let me show you what I’ve been up to…

It all started with this lesson to learn how to use watercolor to shade with. My muse loved every moment of it. I drew 6 tiles and shaded them out of order (starting with tile #2, then 4, 1, 6, 3, and lastly 5). And with each tile I learned a bit more, experimented a bit more, and had a blast.

But my muse wasn’t finished. We then had a black&white class, but my muse wanted to paint that too.

Then I took a watercolor background and drew the tangles from that class and suddenly I saw Cthulhu… and my muse ran with it…

So that’s what I’ve been doing for the last almost two months! 😀 We have another painting session tomorrow, so I thought I’d try to catch-up on blogging today. I know these have jumped the queue, but I’ve been having so much fun that I had to share.
