It’s a new year! …

Hey guys!

I’ve had a birthday since my last post, I turned 50! WTF??!!

So I’ve decided to ‘take better care of myself’… which also includes not beating myself up for not doing everything on my todo list in a timely manner. It has occurred to me that it seems to be impossible to blog daily, really hard to blog weekly, and perhaps possible to blog monthly. So here we are until I get my sh*t together better, I’m going to stop apologizing and just realize that monthly is what I can do right now.

I’ve been taking more time out to draw, which in reality should be top priority on my list… but you know, life and stuff keeps taking over. Like my wacom dying and having to get a new one… then I had to replace my printer too. I think everything electronic is now happy? I sure hope so.

I finished my digital straight lines drawing, I was really feeling the purple and then some pink, and then blue and cyan made their way in too… I’m pretty happy with it… (Hello, new printer 🙂 )

I’m still working on this one… the digital ones tend to take longer because I zoom in while I’m doing the lineart and then suddenly there is soooo much to shade, haha…

I’ve done quite a bit of analog art…

In Zentangle class we did a ‘back to basics’ tile and we started talking about our before and afters over the years… I found my very first tile, a tile similar to the one in class, and the third tile is from that class… I think I’ve improved 😉 …

Let’s see, ah this next one is something I did on my own… we needed to prep some tiles with watercolors, and a few of my tiles were more muddy than pretty blooms, but it was still a pretty purple, so I went ahead and drew on it…
