Wrap-up Rainbow Shading… (Shelter in Place: Day 321)…

Apparently 3 weeks have past since my last post, heh. What is time anyway?

Ok… so I have been attempting to get some drawing done. The weekly Friday classes are really helping me get a little drawing done each week.

This one was done in class (Rainbow Shading, pt.3), and then finished on my own… I really like this one…

After class all those weeks ago, I thought I’d try to practice on my own… I really don’t like this one, many times I thought about just throwing it away… but then I realized that it was a perfect piece to practice and make mistakes on … the weave was really difficult to fix after I messed it up, but I think I saved it fairly well… but overall the piece is just too busy and I don’t like it… but here it is anyway…

I really enjoyed playing with the various colors, I purchased a few more colored pencils… now I’m working on organizing them, this is taking a bit longer than I initially expected. Who knew reds were so hard to organize? I still need to organize my oranges and yellows…
