Inktober 2020 #4 — Radio — >Remixed (Shelter in Place: Day 214)…

Hey guys!

Guys… I LOVE dip ink!

I think the last time I did dip ink and nips was last Inktober! Why? I love it, every time I’m so thrilled to play with that media. I’m going to have to make sure I use it more often. Today I played around with something slightly different than my usual… not only did I dip ink/nip the outline… but I used the ink like a watercolor… so much fun! I also did something else… I shrank the size, I am very much a small scale artist… the 8.5x11in that I’ve been doing is just too big for me and it’s easy for me to feel overwhelmed. Today I worked on a 5x7in cotton paper, and it was the perfect size for me.

I took the inked image from day 4, scanned it in, and then printed it on some cotton paper that came in the Inktober box from Artsnacks… then I went to town playing… (for some reason the printout looked greenish, so it was a great opportunity to do dip ink and nips for the outline)…

also I made you a gif..

and because I’m a goofball, I took a photo at a fun angle…

Yesterday, I attended a ~3hr live online Zentangle class. I’m not quite finished with the project but thought I’d give you a sneak peak…

Doggies!

Yesterday, my husband and I took a walk without the dogs… something we rarely do. We were gone about an hour. Penny was yelling her head off (per usual). I took these photos of them passed out once we’d been home a little while… they both look like they have headaches. Poor pups. 😦

Stay safe everyone! And wash your hands! 🙂
Until next time…
