I’m still working on finishing the first 7 days of Inktober.
Today I continued to work on the Bulky drawing. I scanned in my inked drawing, then I added a door and a light to the ceiling. Next, I played around more with grey tones. It took ALL day (seriously I worked on this for almost 8 hours!) but I finally came to something I liked. Sometimes it’s frustrating, but I know that mistakes are how you learn, so these hours I’m spending are skills I’m learning… so it’s all good.
I keep forgetting that what I see on the screen is much lighter than what will print. It looked so cool on my monitor. Here’s my first print compared to my finished print… the first one was waaaaay too dark. Ugh! I had to alter a bunch of parts to get it where I wanted it. Lessons learned…
Tomorrow I have a 3 hour zoom class, so I’m going to take the day off from working on Kevin drawings.
Let’s see, do I have a quick photo of the pups?…
Ah yes, this day I had treats and a camera… perfect!
Stay safe everyone! And wash your hands! 🙂
Until next time…
