Hey guys!

So I was looking at the last 7 drawings and thinking that I need to take them to the next level… simply put, they need at least three values… so they don’t feel finished. I like the look of cross-hatching, but everytime I try it, I realize I just don’t have the patience for that. Ugh. I mean I’ll spend all day mucking with a drawing, but precise lines is just not my thing. I’m more into curvy organic lines. Maybe one day I’ll figure out how to feel confident with my cross-hatching and not get bored halfway through, but that day was not today.

So instead I had the idea that I would alter my inked pieces with grey Copic markers, but I wanted to so a preview digitally first, and then the day slipped by and I realized that I could have more control digitally. So I scanned in my inked drawing and placed it over the shading I had previously done, then mucked about tweaking it… Hours later, I have this…
