Inktober 2019, Days 25, 26, 27, & 28…

I needed to take a few days off to do some pressing things, but that off time made today’s drawing session go really well. 🙂

I was able to draw just a bit yesterday… monster #25, such a cutie… I changed her flappy arms to robot arms and I changed her legs to robot legs, I think I like her better now… I’ve decided her candy name is Lemon Drop…

Speaking of candy names… I’ve named monster #24 Red Hots… because he has a devious look on his face and his spots kinda look like red hots. It is more difficult than I imagined to name 31 monsters after candy.

Let’s see monster #26, I named Squirrel Nut Zipper… did you know that not only is that a name of a band, it was a name of a drink during Prohibition… apparently the candy of the same name is a peanut caramel… I was trying to find a candy that was mesmerizing to account for his swirl eyes… Candy Warehouse claims that these candies are intoxicating with sugar… close enough 🙂 For monster #27, I decided to name her Buttermint Cream… I was trying to find a ‘ghost’ candy… and these cream colored mints seemed to fit…
