Happy New Year, everyone!

Last night I started working on some zentangle tiles after watching Eni Oken’s Echotanicals video.  I started out with a white tile and black ink, and then colored with markers and colored pencils… enjoy!

Initially, I wasn’t sure about each stage, so I took a photo in case I ‘messed it up’…. the second tile, I jumped in with both feet and took the picture at the end.  Oddly, I did make some mistakes on the second tile, but was able to make them not as apparent.

I always find it interesting what others see in my art. My husband thought the first one looked like I had found a seed pod. The second, he said made him think I was dreaming of washing broccoli! Hahahahaha! 😀 I love it!
