I’m still a few days behind on Inktober, but I’m catching up… I keep reminding myself that last year I drew one image each day without any planning… each day was a tile and it was very zentangle oriented. This year, I’m practicing each monster until I like him/her and then doing a trial dip ink version and then a final dip ink on watercolor paper. Then because I messed up early on, I’m now also coloring them in and adding shadow. So the process is a bit slower, but I’m still having fun and learning… which is the goal.
I drew a couple of monsters in my sketch book a few days back and today I was able to find a large block of time to add them in… sometime since my last post I also colored in the other monsters.
Day 13…
This one came pretty quickly, he’s a cute little tea cup monster… his shape is a half circle…
Day 14…
This one took a few tries to figure him out, I guess he’s a one-eyed turtle?… his shape is a half oval and a circle…
Day 15…
This one is a bit shy… his shape is a trapazoid…
Day 16…
This one I had to come back to later because he was all head, no body… I like this little alien cow… his shape is a trapazoid and a circle…
The story so far…
Until next time…
