Somehow, Friday-Sunday I was unable to get any drawing done. On Monday, I felt a bit behind, and my drawing just wasn’t working out. I was able to finish Thursday’s drawing, but a new monster was just not happening… it felt like a 5 year old drew it. So rather than force it, I decided to come back to it on Tuesday.
This was a rather long walk to get this monster to a place I liked, but I finally did it, whew. I liked the curled nose and the four feet, it just took awhile to get it to work for me…
I combined the two sheets of paper and had this monster span the two sheets… I’m short so I had some trouble getting the whole sheet in the frame… next time I’ll grab the step stool, heh…
Inktober, day twelve’s shape was a half oval. For the ink, I used yu-yake (sunset, burnt orange) with both a Maru (mapping) soft nip and a G nib.
Today is the 17th, and this is the 12th monster… I’m a bit behind, but I’m trying not to let it stress me out. Remember, it’s supposed to be fun!
Until next time…
