I’ve decided to do Inktober this month. 😀  Find out more about Inktober, here. Basically it’s a month long encouragement to draw every day.

Today I decided to incorporate both the official prompt list and the zentangle prompt list.

Today’s prompts are Screech and Hurry…

Closeup…

The only thing I could come up with for Screech was a Screech Owl… so I looked up how to draw an owl and then tangled the pattern Hurry within him… He looked so lonely just sitting there on the page so I thought it needed some kind of background.  I thought something round would be good against all the straight lines of Hurry… originally I was going to draw Crazy ‘Nzepple, but since I wasn’t sure about it I drew the crazy grid in pencil… then I decided to fill in the spaces of the crazy grid with Printemps (again in pencil, because I was unsure) instead of the next step in Crazy ‘Nzepple… in the end I liked the tangle pattern in pencil because it doesn’t take away from the owl. 😀

• Sakura Pigma Micron (01)
• Pentel Pocket Brush Pen (ignore the Tombow brushpen in picture, I accidentally grabbed the wrong pen for the photo)

Pups…

I’ve had this photo of Duke for a few days now, I was waiting until I had a photo of Penny too… He is being super cute under my art desk…

Earlier today, the pups enjoying a bit of morning sun… Penny is looking at me taking the photo, meanwhile Duke is out. 😛
