Tangling Zentangle Tiles Helped with My Four-Day Cluster of Migraines…

This past week I had a migraine headache for 4 days.  The first day I spent the afternoon taking a nap wearing a Koool soft gel sheet on my forehead and a sleep mask over my eyes, and taking Excedrin.  The second day I still took Excedrin, but I felt more functional so I decided to work on my WIP art tiles.  It turns out that concentrating on the zentangle tiles helped me forget my pain for awhile… so each day I would work on the art to help ease the headache pain…

Completed WIPs…

Tangle patterns used: Hypnotic…

[Blue] Tangle patterns used: Echolines, Footlites, Bunzo, Springkle…

I played around with the white gel pen, then I learned that I could soften the gel pen with water. I also played around with Ecoline  watercolor in white.

Mug Drawings…

My week wouldn’t be complete without a few drawings on my husband’s morning tea mug… snails have been a theme lately…

Echoline Shading WIP…

With my migraine looking at a monitor wasn’t ideal, so I didn’t get to work on this as much as I had hoped…

Pups…

Sometimes the pups request touch while they nap…

Penny is scheduled to get her 2nd and 3rd heartworm injections next week, then we continue the restricted exercise until Mid-November.

Until next time…
