Diva Challenge (Reticula & Fragment)…

This week’s Diva Challenge was rather interesting… create a pattern (fragment) that will go into a grid (reticula) and get repeated, then see what happens…

I tried out a couple of ideas before I got something close to what I was trying to do…

At first I was trying to use circles and arched tentacles… but when I went to put in in the grid, I kinda lost my place… it was neat, but I wanted to see what else I could do. ย Then I tried a large circle, then several small circles diagonally up, then connected with a curved line. ย Interesting… but again I got lost on my implementing of it. ย The third time I paid special attention to where the center four should fall and then those around it… then I decided to add a diagonal line and was surprised and thrilled that it could connect to the curved lines and make an interesting shape… I was very happy. ๐Ÿ˜€ ย and created this tile…

I like this tile so much that I decided to name my pattern and create a step-out. ย The pattern reminds me of radio waves, thus I named it Radio-Wav… Enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

UPDATE: I played around a little bit more with this pattern and created another tile. ๐Ÿ™‚

Until next time…
