Yesterday I was in my husband’s office (the den) talking about something I’ve now forgotten, when I saw a movement out of the corner of my eye. At first, it scared me because I thought it was a really big spider, moving very quickly… then I realized it was a lizard…
We live on the third floor, so lizards on our patio is not something we experience… well, never actually… we’ve never had a lizard on our balcony. Look how little he is, you guys!… (click to enlarge)
I moved around to our other sliding glass door to get a better angle… he noticed me…
Eventually, I was no longer interesting to him… 🙂
Until next time…

That’s one of the things I miss most about Australia – the lizards of all things, lol. The gecko’s coming out at night to eat the moths, the little skinks that run around during the day attempting to warm up, and ALWAYS the water dragons!
Oooo geckos would be cool to see and water dragons, wow! We just have these little lizards running around. 🙂
I’m not a fan of those little lizards. We get a few of them making their way through our lanai screens. My new 8 month old kitty has been having fun chasing them.
YIkes … Yesterday he left me a gift of a dead one. Nature has a different outlook.
Nice post … Isadora 😎
Nature does have a different outlook… yuk. 🙂 I live in a coastal desert so lizards are what we are seeing a lot of this summer… I think they are cute. But I’ve never had one near my door before, this was new. 😛
