This is my husband’s favorite flower… Every year around this time the Lily of the Nile plants look like they are bursting, like fireworks. 😀
We have white ones and purplish-blue ones around our complex, this year we started to notice a few that are like hybrids… Enjoy…

I am going to tell you a secret… Initially, I thought Nic was short for Nick… Then, I realised my huge error!
Thanks, Rajiv! 🙂 Haha, it’s a common mistake… some people even spell it NIK, like the software… it’s all good. 🙂 I always wanted a shortened form of my name, which isn’t meant to be shortened. My husband came up with Nic, and I really liked it. Oddly, I’ve been using Nic as my name in the blog world for 7 years, but whenever I meet someone new I always give my actual name… so no one actually calls me Nic, it’s become more of my online penname… I guess even though I wanted a shortend name I’m so used to my actual name it just comes out, I never remember to give out my name as Nic… I’m weird. 😛
Well, as a pen name it is so very cool!
