Tomorrow is my pup’s two week suture checkup, I think the area looks pretty good. She’s healing well and is gaining her strength back. 😀
How has is been 10 days since my last post? Time… what are ya gonna do? Eh?
Mostly we’ve just been catching up on other chores and hanging out with the pup on the futon watching DVDs. She enjoys the pack time.
This morning I was going through my backlog of blogs to read and I came across this challenge, which I was inspired by… Enjoy…
This tangle is a Duo-Tangle of Drupe and Poke Root. I drew it in a drawing journal after marking out a 3.5in square…
Until next time…

Wonderful combination! Happy Sunday!
Thanks, Anja! Happy Sunday to you too. 😀
Beautifully done, and I love how you have balanced light and dark!
Thanks, Sue! 😀 I like to play with light and dark, I’m so glad you like it.
Lovely piece! It’s really beautifully composed;-)
Thank you so much, Michele! 😀
I do like your tile with Pokeroot and Pokeleaf together with Drupe. Welcome here!!!!
Thanks, Annemarie! 😀 I didn’t realize that making the cherry look like a leaf made it Pokeleaf… but good to know. I just thought I’d play with the Pokeroot alternate stepout. Glad you like it. 🙂
I love the layering technique and the depth you achieved using it. I also like the contrasts of dark against light. Great work!
Thanks, Jean! 😀 I too liked how going dark in some places and creating more light in others made this tile pop.
Really like your interpretation of the challenge! Bold and light at the same time!
Thank you so much, Patty! 😀
There’s so much life and energy in your tile! Well done!!
Thank you so much, Lorna! 😀
