Ok, so I know that many of us have a hard time giving up the ability to shoot in RAW once we start shooting that way. And I know that many of you just couldn’t imagine giving up that capability. But I have got to show you why I was willing to compromise.

The Nikon CoolPix P900 has several options for Scene, one of them is Moon. I thought I’d give it a try and I’m very impressed.
I shot a little video today too. I have the moon in focus at focal length 2,000mm and then I zoom back to 24mm…

Although it shoots only jpeg the camera maybe be worth it just for the zoom potential. Thanks for sharing.
