I don’t have a “What the…?” image for today so I thought I’d play along in the Share Your World questions from Cee at Cee’s Photography.
What is your preferred hot drink: coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate, or other?
Hot green tea… I have a mug in my hand all day long (I probably drink four 12-oz mugs a day, a least).
What was your favorite toy as a child . . . and now?
I’d have to say my favorite toy as a child would have to be a regular deck of cards… you can play so many games with a deck of cards. You can play with others (poker, crazy 8s, rummy, etc.) or you can play by yourself ( I used to know at least 3 different solitaire games, one I might have made up).
My favorite toy now… hmmm Cee mentioned her’s was her camera… while that is a fun toy. I think I’m going to have to go with games again.. When my husband and I have time that is what I want to do, play some kind of game, tabletop or some specialized deck of cards (Fluxx and it’s variants comes to mind, Oooo… Unexploded Cow! Yeah that one is fun!… Oh And Poo the Card Game is really fun too! ). In fact, if I have my way, this holiday season will be filled with game playing.
Candy factories of the entire world have become one and will now be making only one kind of candy. Which kind, if you were calling the shots?
Hands down, Twix. It’s my favorite candy bar, even if it is too sweet now that I’m getting older… it still has the same magical power it always had over me.
Would you want $100,000 right now or $120,000 in a year (tax Free)?
I’m going to have to say I’d wait for the extra $20,000… then I’d put the whole lot into savings (or some retirement fund) so that we would be closer to retirement.
That was interesting… if you’d like to play too, go to Cee’s blog here.
Until next time…

I did play a lot of cards when I was young. I just don’t know any one who plays anymore. Bridge was my game. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know many people who play games either, so I look for games that are 2-player that way I can play it with my husband. 3-player games tend to just sit on the shelf unless we can make up some kind of house-rule where we have a dummy player (usually we pretend it’s our dog). 🙂
I have never heard of Poo. I am going to have to check it out.
Oh it’s great fun, Joseph! You’ll need 15 markers (coins, beads, tokens, m&ms, or chocolate-covered-raisins, etc.) for each player… the game is for 2-8 players. You can find it at Amazon, or other toy stores.
Thanks for visiting my blog. 🙂
My pleasure. Do we get to eat the M&M’s or Raisinets?
The M&Ms and Raisinets are markers for the poo you are slinging or cleaning off (once you have 15 markers you are out)… but you can definitely eat the ones not being used during the game… and it is a great reward once the game is over! 🙂
