It must have been a difficult shot to get just right. I love taking pictures of water mid flow, but so far have not managed to do it very well. This is certainly an excellent example of how it ought to be done. Thank you for sharing, Nic.

Thank you for your lovely praise. The best advise I can give is practice, practice, practice. I looked at the camera settings for this shot and they aren’t too out there… focal length 30mm, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/30s, iso 400… I used my kit lens on my Canon Rebel T2i and I’m pretty sure I had the camera set to continuous shots (so I had some shots that weren’t worth keeping).
