I came across this little guy clinging to the wall while out on a walk with my dog.  I only had my cell phone on me and the photos just didn’t do him justice.

I returned shortly with my 180mm macro lens and ring flash.

Ah, much better…

He stayed perfectly still the entire time I was photographing him, to the point that I was worried that he was somehow dead and attached to the wall.

I’m happy to report that later that day I returned to the area and he had left.  I can only assume that he flew away after a bit of a rest.
